Learning Partners

I am a HLTA in Rainbow class. I have worked in education for 15 years including nursery, mainstream and special schools. I enjoy supporting children through personal interventions. I have been working in the Piper Centre since 2021.

My name is Pauline Sheehy. I have worked in the SEN sector  for 30 years, both as a teacher and now as a Learning Partner. I have 3 grown-up children and 4 grand children. In my spare time I enjoy walking, running, going away in my camper van, listening to music and being with my family and friends.

Hi I am Kathy. I graduated in 1999 with a BEd hons degree in primary education.  I worked in a mainstream setting for 12 years before having a break and starting my own family.    I then decided to return to work but this time try special education. I am so pleased I chose this path as I absolutely love working with such a diverse group of young people.  Every day is different and always comes filled with the satisfaction and reward of helping each individual grow and reach their full potential.

Hi, I’m Dani. I’ve worked at the Piper Centre since January 2022. Previously I worked at the Milestone School. I have 8 children and 4 grandchildren. I have an autistic son so I have personal experience of SEN as well. I love working at the Piper Centre and helping children reach their full potential.

Hi, I’m Kay and I’m an LP in Green Class. Previously, I have worked at St Rose’s, National Star College and Dean Close School. It is a privilege to work here at The Piper Centre and support the pupils in all aspects of their school life.

Hi I’m Beckie, I’m a Learning Partner in Rainbow class. I’ve worked in support work for 6 years visiting a wide range of settings and different aged children. I’m looking forward to this new adventure at the Piper Centre.

Hi I’m Keeley, I’m a learning partner in Rainbow class. I’ve worked in Care for the past 10 years and have been a twirling coach for the past 10 years, working with young children. I can’t wait for this new opportunity working at the Piper Centre.
